Hi! I am so sorry! I had trouble getting my Night and Day article to publsh, and sometime in the midst of my frustration, the explanation of the synopsis got deleted. (Gather ate it.) It is now posted at the beginning of the synopsis. Sorry to leave you in the dark! I am the author, and it is fiction, based loosely on a personal experience and my family history. I need to submit the synopsis to an editor and wanted feeback before I mailed it out. The entire explanation is now up! Thanks!
